Ecumenical ActivityThe Blessing of the Graves services on 7th November attracted the largest attendance yet, with both St Brigid’s and St Mary’s overflowing. Many of those present have commented how comforting and reassuring they find the service, and how it helps them cope with the grief of the loss of their loved one. Many thanks to the Church Wardens for the organisation that went into the services. Over €4,000.00 was raised for the Dublin 15 Hospice Appeal Fund. Hope Calendars for 2005 are on sale to raise funds for the Dublin 15 Hospice Appeal. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is 18-25 January 2005. There will be a visiting preacher for our services on Sunday 23rd January, as well as an ecumenical service of prayer at Castleknock Community College (organised by the students) on Wednesday 19th January at 7.30/8pm.....Check notices closer to the time. MISSION SUNDAY - On Sunday 16th January 2005 we focus on Mission, and this year the preacher at St Mary’s at 10am and at St Brigid’s at 11.30am will be……AWAITING DETIALS |
