In memoriam:
Queenie (Frances) Thomas.
Queenie and her late husband Jim were long time residents of Castleknock, having moved to Beechpark Avenue in the 1950’s. They were very involved in motorcycling and boating, and were well known to everyone in the area. Despite her sadness when Jim died 5 years ago and her recent illnesses, Queenie’s great sense of humour and love of life continued to shine through. For the last 18 months, she was well looked after by the staff of Newpark Care Centre, and died there on 12th April. Our sympathies and prayers are with her daughter Barbara, son in law Klaus and grandchildren Zoë, Sasha and Alana.
