Announcements

Ordination:
A very important day in the life of the parish takes place on June 25th in Christchurch Cathedral at 3.30pm, when Elaine will be ordained priest along with 3 others. Please do come and support her, and keep her in your prayers. She will celebrate The Eucharist for the first time at 6.30pm on Saturday 1st July in St. Brigid’s and we hope as many people as possible will be able to come and join her.

Website:
At the recent competition held for parish websites throughout the entire Church of Ireland, the Castleknock and Clonsilla site was awarded “Highly Commended”! This was a fantastic achievement, and congratulations go all the Communications Committee and especially to Parish Webmaster Philip Good.

Mulhuddart News:
Services resume their summer schedule in June, as we meet every Sunday night at 8pm. Do join us for this very special atmosphere. Negotiations continue about the field beside the Church and we hope to have some very exciting news shortly.

Christian Aid:
Thank you to all who supported the recent collection and coffee morning for Christian Aid.

School News:
Plans are being drawn up for a new extension to the school to cope with the increasing enrolment. We are hoping to build at least three new classrooms and a resource teaching room, with the help of government funding. Work will take place in Summer 2007.

Confirmation:
Please keep our 16 young people who are being confirmed in your prayers as they prepare for the big day on Sunday 11th June at 11.30am. Thanks to all who have helped with their preparation.

Farewell:
We wish Donna, Iain, Max and Ollie all the very best as they prepare to leave us in June to begin a new life in the North of Ireland. A very big thank you to Donna and Iain for all the work they have done with Clonsilla Project, the Vestry and the Parish.
